Film Synopsis: Mad Max: Fury Road is a high-octane, visually stunning reboot of George Miller’s iconic post-apocalyptic franchise. Set in a desert wasteland where gasoline and water are scarce commodities, the film follows Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) as he is unwillingly swept into a high-speed rebellion led by Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), a rogue warrior attempting to liberate five enslaved women from the tyrannical Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). What unfolds is a relentless, near-continuous chase packed with explosive vehicular combat, breathtaking practical stunts, and striking dystopian imagery.
